Toyoake Business Operator Support Selectable Subsidy
Summary
1) Overview: The Toyoake Business Operator Support Selectable Subsidy, run by Toyoake City (Aichi Pref.), supports small business operators in the city across four selectable activity categories: employment securing, human-resource development, sales-channel expansion, and management innovation. It runs FY2025-FY2027 (Reiwa 7-9), and applicants may freely combine categories in a single application. 2) Eligible applicants: Small or medium enterprises (including sole proprietors) that (a) have a business establishment in Toyoake City, (b) have no municipal-tax arrears, (c) do not operate adult entertainment businesses, (d) do not conduct religious or political activities as the subsidized business, and (e) have no relationship with organized crime among representatives, officers, employees, or members. 3) Eligible expenses & content: Four categories. Employment securing covers exhibition fees for job fairs / joint company information sessions and posting fees on job sites or magazines. HR development covers exam fees for business-related qualifications (excluding ordinary driver's, motorcycle, and moped licenses). Sales-channel expansion covers exhibition fees, website creation, signboard installation or renovation, and advertising in new non-paper media. Management innovation covers cashless payment terminals, EC-site setup/listing, and productivity-improving software/machinery (general-purpose devices such as PCs, printers, multifunction machines, tablets, peripherals are excluded). Bank transfer fees are not eligible; if the same project receives other national/prefectural subsidies, those amounts must be deducted. 4) Rate / ceiling / schedule / points: Subsidy rate is 1/2 of total eligible expenses (excl. tax, rounded down to nearest 1,000 yen), capped at JPY 100,000 per business. Each business may receive the subsidy only once across the three fiscal years FY2025-FY2027, though within one fiscal year multiple applications are allowed until the 100,000-yen ceiling is reached. Applications are submitted after project completion to Toyoake City Industry Support Section or Toyoake Chamber of Commerce, with checklist, application-cum-results-report form, completion evidence, payment receipts, municipal-tax full-payment certificate, and claim form. Prior contact required for January-March submissions. Subject to budget availability.
