Tokyo Offsite Renewable Power Procurement Program (Offsite PPA), FY2026 Applications

This Tokyo program subsidizes renewable generation facilities newly installed outside Tokyo and used to supply renewable electricity or environmental value to specified facilities inside Tokyo. It is administered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Environmental Public Service Corporation. Eligible applicants are legal entities or sole proprietors, including private companies, schools, associations, foundations, medical and social welfare corporations, cooperatives, and similar entities. National and local governments are excluded. Eligible costs are design, equipment, and construction costs for renewable generation and stationary batteries. Consumption tax, land costs, bank fees, reserve equipment, and FIT or FIP certified sales systems are excluded. The maximum rate is two-thirds. The single-project cap is 700 million yen for special high-voltage generation plus batteries. Applications close on September 30, 2026 or March 31, 2027 at 17:00, unless the budget is exhausted earlier.
