Tokyo's MICE Professional Human Resources Development Subsidy supports the training of specialized personnel in the MICE sector (meetings, exhibitions, corporate events, etc.) in FY2024, Round 2, aiming to strengthen industry competitiveness and secure skilled professionals. Eligible applicants are MICE-related businesses with offices in Tokyo (corporations or sole proprietors) engaged in conference operations, simultaneous interpretation, exhibition production, and related services. Training costs from vocational schools or external training institutions, instructor fees, and teaching materials are eligible for subsidy, with support amounts and rates determined by training content and participant numbers. Applicants must demonstrate business track record in Tokyo and present a clear human resource development plan. Addressing the urgent talent shortage in the growing MICE industry, early submission of project plans is key to selection.
