Tokyo Metropolitan Government: Unique Venue Facility Reception Environment Enhancement Support Project (FY2026, Round 2)

A Tokyo Metropolitan Government program that supports the improvement of reception environments at unique venues (historic buildings, cultural facilities, natural scenic areas, and other non-traditional event spaces) to promote MICE and event attraction, driving tourism development and regional revitalization. Eligible applicants are corporations and organizations (for-profit entities, NPOs, etc.) that own or operate unique venue facilities, limited to designated sites within Tokyo. Support covers facility enhancement works and equipment installation (restrooms, air conditioning, lighting, safety management systems, etc.) necessary for reception capacity expansion; specific subsidy caps and rates will be confirmed in the official recruitment guidelines. Evaluation criteria include the facility's business track record, MICE and event hosting history, and compliance with Tokyo Metropolitan designation requirements. As this is Round 2 of FY2032, the recruitment period is limited; early consultation with Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Department of Industrial and Labor Affairs, Tourism Division, is recommended.
