Tamba City Employment Incentive Grant

1. Overview: This grant supports companies that establish, expand, or relocate facilities in Tamba City and newly employ city residents as regular employees. It aims to create jobs and strengthen local industry. 2. Eligible applicants: New establishments require at least JPY 50 million in facility costs and three additional eligible city-resident regular employees. Expansions or relocations require at least JPY 10 million, operation within one year after construction, and one additional eligible employee. 3. Supported content: The grant is calculated per eligible regular employee, not by expense ratio. Employees must be regular staff, work at the facility, have pension and employment insurance, have no fixed term, live in Tamba City, and be employed for at least nine months. 4. Amount and schedule: Women under 40 hired on or after April 1, 2025 count at JPY 750,000 per person; others count at JPY 500,000. The maximum is JPY 20 million. Apply within two years after operation starts.
