This subsidy supports businesses operating within Takasago City (Hyogo Prefecture) in introducing new equipment that contributes to the 2050 Carbon Neutrality goal. Eligible equipment includes hydrogen / ammonia / biofuel production, storage, supply-transport, and combustion equipment, as well as industrial high-efficiency cogeneration systems using natural gas or hydrogen co-firing. The ordinance takes effect on May 1, 2026 (Reiwa 8) and remains valid until March 31, 2029 (Reiwa 11). Head office location does not matter; the facility installation site must be within the city. Eligible projects must allow quantitative measurement of fossil-fuel consumption reduction. Used equipment, lease / ESCO contracts, updates without fuel conversion, and updates of non-operating equipment are excluded. Eligible expenses are equipment-purchase costs (useful life ≥ 1 year, acquisition price ≥ ¥100,000) minus national / prefectural subsidies, excluding consumption tax. Subsidy rate: up to 1/2 for hydrogen production / storage / supply-transport equipment, up to 1/3 for hydrogen combustion equipment, up to 1/5 for cogeneration. Cap per type is ¥10 million (¥5 million for cogeneration). Total cap per applicant is ¥10 million; limited to one award per applicant.
