Taiko Town, Hokkaido: Challenge Entrepreneurship Support Program Subsidy

Otomachi's startup support subsidy program aims to revitalize the local economy and create employment through encouraging new business ventures within the town. Sole proprietors and corporations establishing new businesses in Otomachi are eligible applicants. Eligible expenses include facility renovation, machinery and equipment, and working capital, with a typical subsidy rate of approximately 2/3. Applicants must be launching a new business, submit a business plan, and commence operations within Otomachi. Projects combining relocation to Otomachi with startup activities may receive preferential treatment, and businesses contributing to regional revitalization are prioritized.
