[Supporting Companies] Mitsuke City Childcare-Friendly Workplace Promotion Incentive
Summary
①Overview: Mitsuke City (Niigata) provides the 'Childcare-Friendly Workplace Promotion Incentive' to support businesses actively creating workplaces where employees can balance work and childcare and continue working with peace of mind. The incentive is paid to businesses that obtain certification under Niigata Prefecture's 'Diverse and Flexible Working & Women's Active Participation Practicing Company (Ni-ful)' program on or after 1 April 2026. Both standard and Gold certifications qualify. ②Eligible Applicants: Applicants must meet all of: (1) have a head office or main business location in Mitsuke City; (2) obtain the Ni-ful certification within the application fiscal year; (3) be able to cooperate with city promotional activities such as interviews; (4) have no overdue Mitsuke municipal taxes. 'Business etc.' means any company, corporation, or organization conducting business activities. Certification under Niigata Prefecture's program is a prerequisite. ③Eligible Expenses & Content: This is not an expense-based subsidy but a fixed-amount incentive: a uniform ¥100,000 per business. The incentive is limited to one award per business — recipients of past awards cannot reapply. The business must cooperate with Mitsuke City's promotional activities (case introductions, etc.) related to the program. ④Subsidy Rate, Cap, Schedule, and Application Tips: Incentive amount: ¥100,000 per business, one-time only. Application period: 1 April 2026 (Wed) – 31 March 2027 (Wed). Required documents: application form (Form 1-2), copy of Niigata Prefecture Ni-ful certification, copy of certification application, work rules excerpt (sections on childcare leave/holiday), company profile (brochure, etc.), copies of business action plans per the Next Generation Childcare Support Act and the Women's Participation Promotion Act (if applicable), copy of bank passbook for incentive transfer, and other documents requested by the mayor.
