① Overview: Ninohe City supports grassland renewal so livestock farmers facing higher roughage prices can increase self-supplied feed and stabilize management. ② Applicants: Eligible applicants have an address in Ninohe City and renew grassland in the city. Before starting, they must consult the Agriculture and Forestry Division and submit materials to that division or the Joboji General Branch. ③ Costs and documents: Eligible costs are seed, fertilizer, soil improvement materials, herbicide, machinery rental, outsourcing, and other necessary expenses. Machinery purchase and fuel are excluded. Application materials include the application, business plan, budget, site map, site photos, estimates, and heat-tolerant variety proof when applicable. ④ Rate and schedule: The rate is up to 3/4, or up to 4/5 for heat-tolerant pasture varieties, rounded down below 1,000 yen. The largest listed cap is 480,000 yen per hectare. Applications run from April 1 to October 30, 2026.
