’s subsidy for overseas expansion support projects such as SMEs (Overseas Application Support Project) is a system that supports part of the cost required for invention, utility model, design, and trademark applications overseas and boosts overseas expansion using intellectual property rights. This line is scheduled to be open from August 17 to September 4, 2019. The target is a group consisting of small and medium-sized enterprises, individual business owners, and small and medium-sized enterprises, etc., which are located within the commercial facility. Applicants must apply for patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks that have already been applied to the Japan Patent Office. Subsidy costs must be ordered after the grant decision, such as application fee to foreign patent office, domestic and local agent fee, notarization and power of attorney, transfer fee, translation fee, etc., and complete the domestic transfer to foreign application or designated country by December 10, 2019. Auxiliary rate is less than one second of the target expenses, up to 3 million yen per company, 150,000 yen per application, 6 million yen for utility model, design, and trademark, and 300,000 yen for flash protection trademark.
