Sixth Call for Shopping District Disaster Recovery Subsidy for the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake

① Program overview: This fiscal 2026 sixth call supports Ishikawa shopping districts damaged by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. It funds facility recovery so local commerce and community functions can return. ② Eligible applicants: Applicants must be shopping district organizations in Nanao, Wajima, Suzu, Shika, Anamizu, or Noto. Incorporated associations, cooperatives, voluntary bodies, and similar groups may qualify if they have a representative, asset control, a Japanese base, staff, and fund management. ③ Eligible projects and expenses: Covered work includes arcade repair or removal, shared facility rebuilding, streetlight repair, recovery, and obstacle removal. Eligible costs include construction, materials, relocation, demolition, grading, and earth removal. ④ Rate, ceiling, schedule, and points: The rate is up to three fourths, with no upper or lower limit. Applications run April 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027; e-mail must be confirmed by 17:00 and mail must arrive that day.
