Shizuoka City SME DX & Human Resources Development Support Subsidy

Shizuoka City subsidises SMEs and groups running DX or skills training to lift staff capabilities and local industry. Two tracks: (1) DX/Digital — software-skill courses for digital efficiency and business-model change; (2) Skills/Productivity — industrial processing-skill courses and multi-skilling. Applicants must be SMEs per the SME Basic Act with a head office or plant in the city, or cooperatives based in the city. Deemed-large-enterprises (1/2+ shareholders, 2/3+ multi-holders, 1/2+ board) are excluded. Groups with 2/3+ SME members qualify. Eligible: tuition plus books/materials per organiser (taxes out). Excluded: qualification-only, trainee-paid, already-subsidised items. Required: application (Form 1), profile (2), plan (3), budget (4), pledge (5), registry, roster. DX: 2/3 of expenses or JPY 100,000. Skills: 1/2 or JPY 50,000. Combined cap JPY 100,000. One per business per FY, filed pre-start. Flow: decision (6), achievement (9), confirmation (11), request (12) in 30 days.
