Shingu City Startup Support Subsidy
Summary
1. Shingu City covers part of startup costs for people opening a business in Shingu City. Startup means a non-operator starts a new business or forms a corporation; business succession is excluded. 2. Eligible applicants are city-resident sole proprietors, corporations with a main office in Shingu, or migrants registered by startup. They must have no city tax arrears and must operate for at least five years. 3. Eligible costs are renovation work, machinery and equipment purchase or installation, shop rent for up to six months, and advertising such as flyers, media ads and website setup. General-purpose items, deposits, key money, guarantees, common fees, parking and communication costs are excluded. 4. The rate is up to one half. The ceiling is JPY 500,000, or JPY 600,000 in a shopping street. Applications are year-round but close when funds run out. Apply before purchase or construction, start after the grant decision, and pay by March 31.
