Shimizu Town SME Support Subsidy (FY2025)

1) Overview: Shimizu Town subsidy to strengthen competitiveness of local SMEs and revitalize regional industries by supporting business expansion and management base stabilization. Under the Shimizu Town SME Support Subsidy Ordinance (April 1, 2025 Notification 50), targets two business categories: out-of-prefecture sales channel expansion and sales promotion support. 2) Eligible Applicants: SMEs (per SME Strengthening Act Art. 2) with headquarters or business locations in Shimizu Town, conducting either (1) out-of-prefecture sales expansion or (2) sales promotion support business at local business sites. New entrepreneurs (less than 5 years from founding) may also qualify. EXCLUDED: tax delinquents, businesses requiring adult entertainment law notifications, organized crime members or anti-social forces. 3) Eligible Categories & Expenses: Eligible scope and subsidy rate defined by appendix per business category. Specific eligible expenses, subsidy rates, and caps defined in appendix (not included in this notification - confirm with town office). Submission documents: SME Support Subsidy Application (Form 1) and Pledge/Tax Compliance Consent (Form 2), with appendix-specified documents per category. 4) Subsidy Rate, Cap and Schedule: Defined per business category in appendix (confirm with town). Grant conditions: (1) report to mayor promptly if project cannot complete within scheduled period; (2) maintain accounting ledger and receipts for 5 years from fiscal year end after grant. Performance report due 30 days after project completion or April 10 next fiscal year, whichever earlier, with Performance Report (Form 4). Payment request due 10 days after grant confirmation notification.
