Shimanto City Subsidy for Promoting LED Lighting Installation at Business Establishments

① This Shimanto City program helps local businesses replace existing non-LED lighting with LED lighting. It supports business continuity, management stability and greenhouse gas reduction. Eligible LED products must meet the top-runner standard. ② Applicants must have a city business site and no municipal tax arrears. Religious or political activity, adult entertainment, inappropriate applicants, similar public support, and city designated managers are excluded. ③ Eligible costs are purchase and installation work for unused, non-lease LED lighting used for business. Bulb or tube replacement only, portable equipment, new or additional installation, residence-only facilities, and work started before application are not eligible. ④ The subsidy is one third of eligible expenses, capped at JPY 500,000. Eligible expenses must total at least JPY 100,000. Applications run from May 1 to December 28, 2026, with early closure possible. The final performance-report deadline is January 29, 2027.
