Shiga Professional Human Resources Utilization Subsidy
Summary
This Shiga subsidy supports SMEs in Shiga that engage Professional Human Resources (Pro Talent) as direct hires or via side/dual-job, after consulting at the Shiga Pro Hub (Industrial Support Plaza). It addresses new-tech adoption, reskilling for new businesses, and HR strengthening. Pro Talent = specialist with >=5 years of experience or required qualifications. Eligible: SMEs under SME Basic Act Art.2(1), plus equivalent social-welfare, medical, NPO, general/public-interest associations, school corporations, cooperatives. Excluded: adult-entertainment, bankruptcy/civil-rehabilitation, unpaid Shiga taxes, organized-crime affiliates. Three tracks. Table 1: direct hire (salary >=4.5M JPY, prior workplace outside Shiga except northern 3 cities, in-prefecture workplace, retention >=1 year). Tables 2 and 3: side/dual-job (Table 2 contract <=6 months). Eligible costs: placement success fee, travel/lodging (round-trip >=10,000 JPY), remuneration. Consumption tax and duplicate public subsidies excluded. Rates: T1 within 1/3; T2 within 4/5; T3 success-fee within 1/3, travel within 3/4 for digital talent or 1/2 otherwise. Caps: 500,000 JPY for T1 and T2; T3 = 66,000 JPY success-fee + 500,000 JPY travel. File Form No.1 with plan, expense sheet, resume, tax certificate, pledges; e-filing accepted. Achievement report due 30 days post-completion or 5 Mar 2027, whichever earlier.
