Summary

(1) Overview: This is Sakaiminato City's second-phase independent grant program funded by Japan's national emergency local revitalization grant for price surge response. It supports business continuity for operators based in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture, who are affected by sustained high energy prices, paying a flat per-operator amount regardless of industry. (2) Eligibility: SMEs (including sole proprietors) with their head office or main business location inside Sakaiminato City. The applicant must show that for any one month between April and December 2025 the combined electricity + gas + fuel cost was at least 40,000 JPY; if under 40,000 JPY, the combined cost of electricity, gas, fuel, raw materials, food, purchased goods and consumables must total at least 250,000 JPY. Required documents are the application/invoice form (Form 1 or Form 1-2), the pledge/consent form (Form 2), bank passbook copy, receipts for eligible expenses, and sales/income filing evidence. (4) Rate, cap, schedule and tips: Flat grant of 100,000 JPY per corporation and 50,000 JPY per individual proprietor, unified even with multiple stores.
