Saitama's FY2026 Rice Stink Bug Wide-Area Control Promotion Subsidy, by Saitama's Agriculture & Forestry Dept, tackles warm-winter outbreaks via drone/helicopter spraying in the optimal window, under rules of 1 April 2026. Eligible Saitama bodies: (1) JA cooperatives, single or joint with adjacent branches; (2) pest-control councils of municipalities/JA/farmer groups (one per municipality); (3) farm corporations doing joint control with neighbours; (4) other governor-approved bodies. Need ≥100 ha target paddy (50 ha in Chichibu) and outsourced drone/helicopter spraying. Eligible expenses: outsourced spraying plus intra-area coordination (maps, venue, printing) capped at 10%. Excluded: pesticides, labour/travel, equipment, bank fees. Scope: Saitama paddy only. Flat-rate cap JPY 500,000; pro-rated if over budget. Form 1 due 30 Jun 2026; Form 5 status by end-Oct 2026; Form 4 final in 30 days or end-Dec 2026 (earlier). Submit via local Agri-Forestry Centre with anti-OC declaration.
