Saikai City (Nagasaki) Accommodation Facility Attractiveness Enhancement Subsidy (FY2026)

Saikai City subsidizes accommodation operators that renovate facilities to improve guest convenience and comfort and increase overnight stays. Eligible applicants are operators of accommodation facilities in the city under the Inns and Hotels Act, and farm-stay operators. Eligible costs include renovation of guest rooms and shared areas, such as western-style toilets, washlet installation, bathroom improvements, barrier-free upgrades, and interior work. The subsidy rate is up to one-half for accommodation operators and one-third for farm-stay operators, with a maximum of 1 million yen. Applications are accepted until 5 p.m. on January 30, 2027, unless the budget is exhausted earlier.
