Program overview: Sagamihara City supports businesses that provide residential solar systems through zero-upfront-cost leases or power sale services, aiming to expand renewable energy use in the city. 2. Eligible applicants: applicants must be corporations other than public corporations, with no bank suspension, dishonored bills, insolvency, city tax arrears, nomination suspension, or organized-crime relationship. 3. Eligible expenses and activities: eligible equipment is solar power equipment and related storage batteries under a registered plan. Quotations and receipts are needed, and FIT/FIP certification, J-Credit registration, national subsidy duplication, and pre-decision construction start are not allowed. 4. Rate and cap: solar equipment is JPY70,000/kW, or JPY100,000/kW for city-contractor work, capped at JPY350,000 or JPY500,000. Batteries are one third of eligible cost, capped at JPY510,000. The combined explicit cap is JPY1,010,000.
