[Reiwa 7 year correction budget] Renovation support project for CO2 system

This is a national subsidy program administered by the Ministry of the Environment to promote the adoption of decarbonization technologies, reduce CO2 emissions across entire factories and business sites, and contribute to achieving Japan's mid-to-long-term greenhouse gas reduction targets. Eligible applicants include private corporations, independent administrative agencies, university corporations, social welfare corporations, medical corporations, cooperatives, general incorporated associations and foundations, with no restrictions on employee count. Support covers retrofitting to energy-saving CO2-type systems including electrification, fuel switching, and heat recovery; specific subsidy caps and rates are detailed in the application guidelines. Key requirements include no consecutive deficits in the past two fiscal periods, appropriate accounting management systems, and execution of a yakuza exclusion pledge.
