Summary

①Overview: This program provides the 'Regional Tourism Operators Price-Hike Countermeasure Subsidy (Group Travel Creation Subsidy)' to travel agencies that create travel products targeting tourism facilities in Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture. Funded by Japan's national price-hike-response priority support grant, the program is administered by Bungotakada City Kankou Machizukuri Co., Ltd. to promote inbound group tourism and stabilize local tourism business operations. Eligible trips must be conducted between March 20, 2026 and March 19, 2027. ②Eligible applicants: Travel agencies registered under the Travel Agency Act (Act No. 239 of 1952). The applicant, its officers, and all trip participants must not be members of organized crime groups as defined under the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members. ③Eligible expenses & content: Trips must satisfy all of: (1) departure from outside Bungotakada City with round-trip chartered bus, (2) at least 20 participants per itinerary (excluding tour conductors/drivers), (3) meals at Bungotakada restaurants AND visits to 2+ paid tourism facilities listed (Showa Roman Kura, teamLab Gallery Matama, Fukiji, Maki Odo, Kumano Magaibutsu, Choanji, Onie no Sato, Nagasakibana Resort Camp, etc.), (4) not school trips, conferences/training, or political/religious tours. ④Subsidy rate/cap/schedule: 30,000 yen per bus, plus ferry boarding fee (capped at 30,000 yen) when ferry used — maximum 60,000 yen per bus. Application via Form No.1 with trip itinerary must be submitted to Bungotakada City Kankou Machizukuri Co., Ltd. at least 3 days before trip date. First-come-first-served until budget exhausted. After the trip, submit Form No.3 (performance report), receipts copies, and Form No.4 (claim) within 1 month to receive payment.
