1. Overview: Otaru City's program uses the national temporary grant for local price-increase measures to support care facilities facing higher food, fuel, and related costs. 2. Eligible applicants: Eligible applicants are corporations operating designated care offices or licensed/notified welfare facilities in Otaru City. They must be operating as of April 1, 2026, continue through March 31, 2027, have no closure plan, and have service records from January to March 2026. 3. Support details: The program provides fixed support by service category. Eligible services include home-visit, day-service, residential, and facility-based long-term care services. Some hospital, clinic, pharmacy, paid elderly-home, and serviced-housing cases are excluded. 4. Amount and schedule: Home-based services receive JPY 18,000 per office, day services receive JPY 6,000 per capacity slot, and residential/facility services receive JPY 13,000 per capacity slot. Applications run from June 1 to July 31, 2026.
