Ono City SME Energy-Saving Equipment Introduction Support Subsidy

1) Overview: Ono City subsidy promotes energy-saving measures by SMEs facing management difficulties due to high energy prices, supporting equipment installation. Operates as a community-linked support scheme tied to the Yui no Eco partner stores program connecting Ono City's Zero Carbon City initiative with citizen CO2 reduction. 2) Eligible Applicants: SMEs meeting ALL of: (1) legal entity HQ in Ono, individual residing in Ono, or member of Ono Chamber of Commerce; (2) has business location in Ono; (3) no municipal tax delinquency; (4) no national/local subsidy for same equipment. No particular restrictions on legal form - broadly includes sole proprietors and various corporate forms. 3) Eligible Expenses: Equipment costs (purchased from Yui no Eco partner stores only), design fees, and construction fees for listed equipment installed at city business sites. Equipment includes: high-efficiency air conditioning (electric package AC, gas heat pump AC, chilling units), industrial heat pumps, commercial water heaters, high-performance boilers (steam/water), high-efficiency cogeneration, low-carbon industrial furnaces, transformers, refrigeration equipment, industrial motors, LED lighting. NOT eligible: consumption taxes, removal/disposal costs, miscellaneous expenses, pre-grant decision projects, equipment sold or installed by the applicant itself. 4) Subsidy Rate, Cap and Schedule: 1/2 rate. Cap ¥1,000,000, floor ¥250,000 (rounded down). One per SME per fiscal year. Ordinance effective March 31, 2026; expires March 31, 2027. Performance report due within 30 days of completion or by March 1, 2027, whichever earlier. Submit: application (Form 1), business plan (Attachment 1-1), budget (Attachment 1-2), quotes, pre-construction photos and layout, equipment performance documents (SII listed model number printout or Top Runner standard achievement). Records must be kept for 5 years from grant decision date.
