Oita Commercial Light Electric Vehicle and EV Charging Equipment Subsidy

1. Program overview: Oita Prefecture supports certified Oita Green businesses that introduce commercial light electric vehicles or EV charging equipment at prefectural offices to reduce transport-sector CO2. 2. Eligible applicants: Applicants must be certified under the Oita Green Business program, have no prefectural tax arrears, avoid duplicate prefectural subsidies for the same purpose, and have no organized-crime relationship. 3. Eligible costs: Vehicle support covers tax-excluded purchase costs of qualifying commercial light EVs with a national subsidy decision. Charging support covers new ordinary charging equipment purchase costs. Used vehicles and used or like-new chargers are excluded. 4. Amount and schedule: Vehicles are subsidized up to JPY300,000 per vehicle and one vehicle per business year. Charging equipment is subsidized at up to one fourth, capped at JPY75,000 per unit and two units per business. Combined maximum display amount is JPY450,000.
