Ogori City Start-up Founder Support Subsidy

1. Ogori City supports people starting a new business in the city. The program helps with initial start-up costs and rent, with fiscal 2026 rounds in April, July and October. 2. Applicants must not already operate a business. They must plan to establish a company headquartered in Ogori City or open a sole-proprietor business with its main office in the city, and the plan must be checked by the city commerce society. 3. Eligible costs include scrivener fees, office exterior or interior work, machinery, tools, equipment, kitchen cars, lease or rental fees through March 31, advertising, marketing research, and monthly office rent. Taxes, transfer fees, deposits and insurance are excluded. 4. The subsidy rate is up to one half. Start-up costs are capped at 300,000 yen. Rent is capped at 20,000 yen per month, or 30,000 yen for a qualifying vacant tenant space in a commercial-use district. With up to twelve rent months, the maximum is 660,000 yen.
