(1) Overview: FY2026 Ninohe City Energy-Saving Subsidy (Iwate) eases SMEs' burden from rising energy prices by subsidising replacement/introduction of energy-saving equipment. Budget execution exceeded 10% by 21 May 2026; closes once exhausted. (2) Applicants: SMEs per SME Basic Act Art.2(1) — manuf./constr./transport JPY 300m & ≤300; wholesale JPY 100m & ≤100; service JPY 50m & ≤100; retail JPY 50m & ≤50. Public-interest corps, cooperatives, ordinary corps, manufacturers, qualifying individual proprietors, and SME groups. (3) Expenses: Update/introduce business equipment with clear energy-saving effect — LED lighting, EcoCute, air-conditioners, refrigeration units. Ineligible: PCs, smartphones, disposal fees, consumption tax. Energy-saving evidence (catalogues) required. (4) Rate/schedule: 1/2, cap JPY 200,000 (under 1,000 yen rounded down). Contracts on/after 1 Apr 2026; deadline 28 Dec 2026. Forms 1–5 + quotes at application; interim ≤90% via Form 8; report Form 10 in 30 days.
