Nagoya SME Digital Utilization Support Subsidy

(1) Overview: This subsidy is offered by the Nagoya Industrial Promotion Public Corporation to SMEs in Nagoya City to support business projects that solve management challenges including wage increases by leveraging digital technology for sales-channel development and productivity improvement. The scheme has three categories: Standard, Wage-Increase, and Robot. (2) Eligible Applicants: SMEs (non-deemed-large enterprises) whose registered head office (or residence + main office for sole proprietors) is in Nagoya City, with no overdue municipal tax, no ties to anti-social forces, never previously received this subsidy, and who have consulted the Nagoya New Business Support Center or Nagoya Chamber of Commerce on digital-technology utilization. (3) Eligible Expenses: Standard/Wage-Increase: software introduction costs and equipment costs (including industrial drone). Robot: robot introduction (mandatory), software, and equipment. Total subsidized expenses must be at least JPY 200,000. Excluded: inventory, advertising, consulting fees, labor, communication, office furniture, consumables, taxes, leasing of existing services, maintenance. (4) Rate & Cap & Schedule: Subsidy rate is up to 1/2 for all categories. Cap: Standard JPY 1M (10 projects), Wage-Increase JPY 1.5M (30 projects), Robot JPY 5M (5 projects). Application window: Standard/Wage-Increase Apr 15 - Jun 1, 2026; Robot Apr 15 - Sep 30, 2026. Project period: Standard from Jul 2026 to Dec 31 2026; Robot from Nov 2026 to Oct 31 2027.
