Miyoshi City Small-Scale Rice Producer Machinery Purchase Support Subsidy

Miyoshi City's Small-Scale Rice Machinery Subsidy helps small farmers buy rice machinery (Apr 2026 - Mar 2029). Applicants must reside in Miyoshi, cultivate rice on city paddies, and sell produce. Registered farmland must be 30 ares to under 5 hectares. They must plan to expand within 3 years by +10% via new usage rights, +20% via own land plus rights, or +50% on own land, be designated as agriculture bearers in the local plan, and have no tax arrears. Eligible machines are new tractors, rice transplanters, or combine harvesters; used machines and attachments are excluded. Non-staple rice included. Required docs: application form, business plan, budget, farming plan, quotes, plan proof, consent. Up to 1/10 of eligible expenses, capped at JPY 300,000. Applications close end of February each year, before purchase. Recipients file a performance report and payment request, continue cultivation 3+ years, retain records 7 years; refund if disposed within the 7-year statutory life.
