Summary

Mie Prefecture supports companies with a head office or business site in the prefecture that conduct carbon-neutral technology development, demonstrations, or feasibility studies in Mie. Eligible themes include use of hydrogen, ammonia, biofuels, next-generation solar cells, and supply-chain development. The subsidy rate is up to 1/3 for large companies and up to 1/2 for SMEs, with caps of JPY 3.5 million and JPY 5 million respectively. Applications are accepted from May 11, 2026 until 17:00 JST on June 15, 2026 by mail or email.
