1) Overview: Maizuru City's Fisheries Management Strengthening Support Subsidy (Apr 1, 2026) helps fishery operators hit by material-price surges. Two tracks: flat Grant and Diversification Subsidy, paid within budget. 2) Eligible: Kyoto Pref. Fisheries Co-op members residing or based in Maizuru as of Mar 31, 2026, engaged in fishing/aquaculture for sale within the past year. Reiwa 7 shipment value (tax-ex, ex self-use) ≥ ¥500,000; intent to continue; main income in Agri/Fishery; no price-surge benefit received; no tax arrears. 3) Expenses & content: Grant pays flat ¥1,000,000 to bottom-trawl (Tegri-1) fishers and corporate fishers, ¥100,000 to other individuals. Diversification Subsidy covers equipment for newly starting another fishery type, aquaculture or seafood processing. 4) Rate/cap/schedule: 3/4 rate, cap ¥1.2M (rounded ¥1k) for diversification; flat for grant. Apply via Form #1 (grant) or Form #2 (diversification—plan, expense breakdown, quotes, bankbook) to the Mayor. One claim per category per applicant. Window set separately. Performance report (Form #8) due within 2 months of completion or by FY-end, whichever first.
