Kyoto City Business Location Promotion Subsidy (First-Entry Support Program)

Kyoto City supports companies making their first entry into the city by subsidizing offices, headquarters functions, factories, and development bases. Eligible applicants are companies that already operate outside Kyoto City and have not established offices in the city during the past two years. Rent can be subsidized at one-half for up to two years, with additional employment-based support, and the maximum support reaches 50 million yen depending on the category.
