Kunohe Village Wage Increase Support Subsidy in Response to Rising Prices

① Program overview: Kunohe Village supports SMEs and sole proprietors that raise wages despite rising prices. The subsidy is a fixed payment for eligible employees whose hourly wages rise. ② Eligible applicants: Applicants must have a business office in Kunohe Village and employ at least one worker there. The worker must work 20 or more hours per week. Applicants must have no tax arrears, subsidy fraud, major legal violations, adult-entertainment business, rehabilitation proceedings, or organized-crime ties. ③ Subsidy content: Payment is based on eligible headcount. The increase must occur from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026, raise hourly pay by at least JPY 60, have one month of actual payment, and be maintained for one year. ④ Amount and schedule: The base amount is JPY 30,000 per employee for up to 50 employees. If employees below JPY 971 are raised to at least JPY 1,031 by December 1, 2025, an extra JPY 10,000 applies. Maximum: JPY 2,000,000. Deadline: December 28, 2026.
