Koganei City Small Business Sustainability Support Subsidy

①Overview: This subsidy is operated by Koganei City to top up the national Small Business Sustainability Subsidy (Jizokuka Hojokin) for small businesses located in Koganei City that are working on sales channel development. It requires the applicant to have already received the national Jizokuka subsidy's confirmed payment notice (kakutei tsuchisho). Applications are accepted from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, submitted by mail to the Koganei City Economic Affairs Section. ②Eligibility: Small businesses (corporations or sole proprietors) with their place of business located in Koganei City, meeting the employee thresholds (commerce/services excl. lodging & entertainment ≤5; lodging/entertainment within services ≤20; manufacturing and others ≤20), continuously operating their business, not in arrears for Koganei City taxes, holding a confirmed payment notice for the national Jizokuka subsidy, not affiliated with organized crime, and holding all required licenses/notifications. ③Eligible expenses & content: Eligible expenses follow the national Jizokuka subsidy rules (excluding the Business Restart frame). The award equals the lower of (eligible expenses − national Jizokuka confirmed amount − any revenue generated during the subsidized project) × 1/2 (round down to ¥1,000), or the cap per frame. So the city supplements the residual after deducting the national subsidy. ④Rate / cap / schedule / tips: Rate 1/2. Caps by frame: General Type Standard ¥125,000 (¥250,000 if national cap was raised to ¥1m); Wage Hike / Graduation / Successor Support / Startup frames ¥500,000 each; Invoice frame ¥250,000; Invoice + Wage Hike ¥625,000; Low Infection Risk Business ¥166,000; COVID Special Type A ¥250,000, Type B/C ¥166,000. Application window FY2026/4/1 - FY2027/3/31, submitted by mail with the city-prescribed form, national performance report copy, confirmation notice copy, bank account proof, plus founding/registration documents if pre-first-tax-return. Disbursement roughly within 1 month after acceptance.
