Kashihara City Startup Subsidy

①Overview: Kashihara City (Nara) Startup Subsidy funds renovation/startup costs for SMEs opening or expanding into a new field via vacant storefronts in the city. Up to JPY 500,000 at 1/2 of eligible expenses. FY2026 opens April 1, 2026, in-person at the Regional Promotion Division, first-come. ②Eligibility: SME (not deemed-large) not yet opened at application; uses a city vacant storefront via fresh startup or new-field expansion; operates 3+ years, 4+ days/week and 5+ hrs/day; completes Kashihara Sogyo-juku or Yume wo Kanaeru Doyo-juku training; no municipal-tax arrears; no organized-crime ties. Industries: JSIC G/I/M/N/O/P. ③Expenses: Renovation, advertising, equipment, system development, software purchases. Directly used for the business, paid within the FY, not yet ordered at application. National/prefectural subsidies for the same expense are deducted. ④Rate/Cap/Schedule: 1/2 of expenses (rounded to JPY 1,000), capped at JPY 500,000 (JPY 200,000 if exempted JSIC-G subcategory without storefront). One award per project. Flow: application → approval → execution → completion report → payment request → disbursement. Docs: Forms 1–4, training cert, tax cert, residence/registration & articles, quotations, storefront proof, pre-renovation photos. Budget-limited; may close mid-year.
