①Overview: Kariya City (Aichi) runs the Industrial Location Promotion Subsidy to retain local enterprises, attract investment and strengthen the management base. It funds firms building/expanding own-use factories or R&D in the city, or installing new machinery in existing factories. ②Applicants: SMEs, mid-tier, deemed-large and large firms with own-use factories or R&D in Kariya must: keep ≥10 regular employees (Employment Insurance Art.7) for 5 yrs from ops start; no organized-crime ties; deemed-large/large not previously paid this subsidy or the Kariya SME Investment Promotion Subsidy on the same factory/industry; no municipal tax arrears. ③Expenses: Total fixed-asset acquisition cost (land and consumption tax excluded), registered in city depreciable-assets ledger. Used OK, leasing not. Minimum 50M yen. Docs: corporate profile, registry, articles, 2 yrs' financials, pledge (Form 2), deemed-large checklist (Form 3), drawings, land/lease, cost details, product description, 5-yr outlook. ④Rates/caps: SMEs/mid-tier under Aichi Type A on new-town (Ichiriyama/Noda Futatsuike) land with 9m setback: 3/20 cap 1B yen; same group else 1/10 (1B).
