Kamijima Town Community Revitalization Challenge Subsidy (FY2026)

①Overview: Kamijima Town Community Revitalization Challenge Subsidy supports operators tackling local issues — creating demand, improving services, capturing external demand. FY2026 adopts 2–3 projects in this Ehime island town. ②Eligibility: Town businesses or planned new entrants meeting: (1) office/store in town; (2) rep residing or planning to reside in town by 2027-03-01; (3) no delinquent taxes; (4) start within 6 months of grant. Anti-social forces, political/religious bodies, public-law entities excluded. ③Eligible expenses: Six categories — equipment, renovation (buildings separate from residence), store/office rent, R&D, advertising/promotion, employee training (off-island qualifications). Excluded: items under ¥30,000, aged-equipment replacement, land/building acquisition, private vehicles, asset-formation expenses. ④Rate/cap/schedule: Rate 1/2 of eligible costs; cap ¥2,000,000. Window 2026-04-28 to 2026-06-30. Project through 2027-03-01 (report by 17:00). Submit to Tourism Strategy Division. Two-stage screening (documents + interview) on 9 criteria.
