Kaizu City Clean Energy Vehicle (EV/FCV/PHEV) Purchase Subsidy

1) Overview: Kaizu City (Gifu) runs the FY2026 Clean Energy Vehicle Purchase Subsidy to cut GHG emissions and realize Zero Carbon City Kaizu, supporting purchases or 4yr+ leases of EV/FCV/PHEV within budget. 2) Applicants: Individuals registered in Kaizu City, or businesses with a Kaizu office. No delinquent municipal taxes, no organized-crime ties, applicant listed as user on the vehicle inspection certificate. 1 vehicle per person/business per fiscal year. 3) Eligible expenses: New purchase or 4yr+ lease of EV/FCV/PHEV first-registered on/after Apr 1 2026. Vehicle base of use must be Kaizu, use category private (not rental). EV/FCV: 100,000 yen fixed; PHEV: 50,000 yen fixed. 4) Rate, cap, schedule: Fixed per vehicle (no rate). Apply within 90 days of first registration; Mar 31 is the fiscal-year deadline. Submit Form No.1 plus inspection certificate, sales/lease contract, receipt and front/rear/side photos to Kaizu City Hall Life & Environment Section. Paid ~1 month later.
