Izunokuni City Recruitment Activity Subsidy
Summary
(1) Overview: Izunokuni City (Shizuoka) provides this subsidy to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with their main place of business in the city to cover part of the costs of recruitment activities (corporate information dissemination related to hiring). Established by Notice No.93 of May 29, 2025; amended by Notice No.48 of March 27, 2026, effective April 1, 2026. (2) Eligible applicants: SMEs (as defined in the SME Basic Act Art.2-1), NPOs (≤300 employees, ≤50 for retail, ≤100 for wholesale/services), social welfare corporations, medical corporations, business cooperatives, general/public-interest incorporated associations and foundations, all with main office in the city. Requirements: no delinquent city taxes; no serious violations of labor laws (Labor Standards Act, Minimum Wage Act); not affiliated with organized crime; not engaged in business contrary to public order. (3) Eligible expenses: three categories — (a) Joint Information Session participation (booth/participation fees, venue, equipment rental at job fairs organized by employment-info companies, excluding self-hosted or affiliated company events); (b) Corporate PR Video production (outsourced video production for recruitment purposes plus posting fees, must comply with Copyright Act); (c) Job-posting publication (recruitment magazines, job sites, SNS, excluding newspaper media). (4) Rate/cap/schedule/key points: 1/2 of eligible expenses (excluding consumption tax), capped at JPY 100,000 (rounded down to nearest JPY 100). Once per business type per applicant; only one business type per fiscal year. Application due before the recruitment activity starts. Achievement report due within 30 days of project completion or by April 10 of the next fiscal year, whichever is earlier. Payment claim within 10 days of receiving the determination notice. Status report (employment outcome) due about one year later. Expenses paid before the grant decision are NOT eligible.
