【Izunokuni City】Agricultural business cooperation and 6th industrialization promotion business expenses subsidy
Summary
1) Overview: This subsidy, administered by Izunokuni City (Agriculture & Forestry Division), supports local businesses engaged in agriculture-commerce-industry collaboration and 6th-industrialization initiatives, aiming to revitalize local industry and the regional economy. Eligible projects must utilize locally produced agricultural, livestock, or fishery resources and create new added value. 2) Eligible applicants: (1) agricultural, forestry, or fishery operators residing in Izunokuni City; (2) commercial or industrial operators residing in the city; (3) commercial or industrial operators with offices or factories in the city; (4) those engaged in agri-commerce-industry collaboration and 6th-industrialization specially recognized by the mayor. Individuals must have no outstanding municipal tax arrears; corporations must have filed corporate municipal tax and business office tax returns and have no arrears. Projects must (a) use locally produced agricultural-livestock resources, (b) create new added value from those resources, and (c) contribute to the region with sustainable continuity. 3) Eligible expenses: (a) Facility installation (new construction or expansion of processing facilities); (b) Machinery introduction (equipment purchase, installation, lease fees); (c) Product development (prototype, packaging, ingredient-analysis fees); (d) Market development (market research, test sales, PR flyers, website creation, exhibition fees); (e) Other costs (management diagnosis, advisor honoraria). Applicants may apply for only one item each from machinery introduction, product development, market development, and other costs. Items that are overly general-purpose or excessive in nature, quantity, or scale are not eligible. 4) Rate, cap, schedule, application tips: Subsidy rate is 1/2 of eligible expenses. Maximum is JPY 500,000 for facility installation and machinery introduction, and JPY 200,000 for product development, market development, and other costs. Applications must be submitted by Friday, January 30, 2027 (Reiwa 9). Required documents include the Form 1 application, Form 2 tax-status consent, Form 3 business plan, Form 4 budget, and other documents the mayor deems necessary. For modifications, submit Form 6 etc.; for performance reports, submit Form 7, Form 4 settlement, contract or receipt copies, and completion photos; for payment, submit Form 8 invoice.
