Ise City Business Location Incentive Program

1. Overview: Ise City's business location incentive program supports companies investing in the city from October 2024. It covers new construction, expansion, or relocation of manufacturing, research, information service, and lodging facilities. 2. Applicants: Applicants invest in and operate their own sites in Ise, or join facility projects as owners or operators. Requirements include fixed asset investment of at least 100 million yen, or 50 million yen for SMEs, operation within three years, and no city tax arrears. 3. Incentives: The land incentive pays 30% of land price or city appraisal, capped at 300 million yen. The facility incentive pays fixed asset tax equivalent for three or five years, capped at 300 million yen. The employment incentive pays 200,000 yen per new regular employee in Ise, capped at 40 million yen. 4. Schedule: Designation is due before land handover for land incentives, or before construction starts otherwise. Grant applications are filed after operation.
