Industrial Waste Processing Business Image-up & Operations Efficiency Support Subsidy
Summary
(1) This is the Fukui Prefecture 'Industrial Waste Processing Business Image-up & Operations Efficiency Support Subsidy', designed to support industrial waste disposal operators undertaking new image-up and human-resource-securing initiatives (the Image-up & HR project) and industrial waste collection/transport operators newly introducing electronic manifests (the e-Manifest Adoption project), in order to secure a stable processing system enabling resource circulation and proper treatment of industrial waste into the future. (2) Eligible applicants are (A) industrial waste disposal operators holding processing facilities in Fukui Prefecture, licensed under Waste Management Act Art.14(6) or Art.14-4(6), or (B) industrial waste collection/transport operators with offices in Fukui Prefecture, licensed under Art.14(1) or Art.14-4(1). Applicants must be motivated in image-up/HR or efficiency improvement, must be able to execute the project properly and reliably, must submit accurate performance reports including effects required by the prefecture, and must cooperate with the prefecture's follow-up investigations into recruitment/adoption status. (3) Eligible expenses for the Image-up/HR project include equipment purchases, consumables, printing/binding (pamphlets, posters), advertising (newspaper, HP creation, recruitment site listing), services (part-time staff hiring), venue rental, outsourcing (PR video/pamphlet creation), exhibition fees, setup costs, and other necessary expenses for company tours, internships and job fair exhibitions. For the e-Manifest project, eligible expenses are PC/electronic equipment purchases, basic e-manifest usage fee (first-time only), and other necessary expenses. Consumption tax, local consumption tax, and transfer fees are excluded. (4) The subsidy rate is 1/2 for both projects. The cap is JPY 200,000 (200 thousand yen) for the Image-up/HR project and JPY 100,000 (100 thousand yen) for the e-Manifest Adoption project; amounts below JPY 1,000 are rounded down. Workflow: submit application (Form 1 or 3) by the deadline → prefecture review → grant decision → start project → status report (Form 4) → interim inspection → project completion → performance report (Form 5 or 6, within 1 month after completion or by April 10 of next FY, whichever earlier) → confirmation inspection → amount finalization → payment request (Form 7) → subsidy payment. Expenditures committed before the grant-decision date, already-implemented image-up/HR activities, and expansion/renewal of already-adopted e-manifest accounts are ineligible.
