Inawashiro Town Vacant Factory Utilization Promotion Subsidy

Inawashiro Town subsidizes SMEs that start operations by using vacant factory buildings, aiming to promote local industry and expand employment opportunities. Eligible applicants must obtain or expect to obtain necessary permits, begin operations within six months after acquiring or leasing the vacant factory, and continue operations for at least five years. They must invest at least 3 million yen in fixed capital, employ at least five regular employees, and have at least half of those employees living in the town. The subsidy is one-half of eligible fixed-capital investment, capped at 2 million yen. The official page currently states that there is no eligible vacant factory at present.
