(1) Overview: Hirosaki City's FY2026 Brand Sales Channel Development Subsidy supports city-based SMEs exhibiting original technologies, products or craft items at domestic/overseas trade fairs, exhibitions, business-matching events or online exhibitions, to expand sales channels and develop new demand. (2) Eligible applicants: SMEs (corporations or sole proprietors) per Article 2(1) of the SME Basic Act whose main office is in Hirosaki City, plus cooperatives/voluntary groups whose majority members satisfy that. Must not have received this subsidy in the same fiscal year and must have no unpaid Hirosaki municipal taxes due in FY2024 or FY2025. One business, one exhibition per fiscal year. (3) Eligible expenses: In-person: travel (up to 2 persons, capped at city section-chief rates), booth fees, decoration, equipment rental, printing (project-only), shipping, insurance, interpretation. Online: booth fees, decoration, printing (incl. content / digital brochure), shipping, interpretation/translation. Direct sales at the event are prohibited; procurement should go to vendors headquartered in Hirosaki. (4) Rate, ceiling, schedule: Subsidy rate up to 1/2 of eligible expenses. Ceilings: overseas JPY 500,000 / domestic JPY 300,000 / online JPY 100,000. Hybrid events: pick one mode. First-come-first-served from 15 Apr 2026 (15 May 2026 for past recipients of related Hirosaki subsidies), within FY2026 budget. Completion report (Form 10) within 20 days of completion; subsidy paid by bank transfer within 30 days of the payment request.
