Hikari City Incentive for Establishing Business Offices by Regional-Issue Response Type

1. Program overview: Hikari City provides a fixed incentive for satellite offices and offices using vacant shops, factories or houses, aiming to attract businesses and solve local vacant-property issues. 2. Eligible applicants: corporations or individuals operating a business may apply if they meet the selected type requirements, have no city tax arrears, expect to operate for at least one year, and cooperate with city publicity. 3. Eligible content: the satellite type covers IT, design, internet, R&D or marketing offices. The vacant-property type covers offices opened in vacant properties in Hikari City, excluding large retail facilities, related-party properties, rebuilt sites, temporary shops and warehouses. 4. Amount and schedule: the base incentive is JPY300,000 per type. Different types may be combined. Additions are JPY30,000 for a residential promotion zone and JPY100,000 for qualifying relocation, so the maximum is JPY730,000. FY2026 applications opened April 1, 2026.
