FY2026 Stable Employment Conversion Support Grant
Summary
① Overview: This Tokyo grant works with the national Career Advancement Subsidy to retain workers converted from non-regular to regular employment. During a three-month support period, employers prepare a three-year development plan, appoint a mentor, provide mentoring and training, and may establish retirement, family, care-leave or wage-increase measures. ② Applicants: Eligible SMEs have an employment-insurance establishment under the Tokyo Labour Bureau and a national regular-employee-course payment decision for a worker converted at a Tokyo workplace on or after April 1, 2023. The worker must remain employed and the employer must satisfy tax, labour-law, wage, overtime, harassment-prevention and anti-organized-crime conditions. ③ Funding: The base grant is JPY 200,000 per worker, up to five workers. Retirement, marriage/childcare and care-support systems each add JPY 100,000. A qualifying hourly wage increase adds JPY 120,000 per worker, up to five. ④ Schedule: The total maximum is JPY 1.9 million. FY2026 applications run May 1–October 31 in six rounds. Apply after the national payment decision, then complete planning, mentoring, at least three days of instruction and qualifying Off-JT training during the assigned period and submit evidence on time.
