FY2026 SME Competitiveness Strengthening Promotion Project (Industrial Human Resources Development Support Program - Telework Implementation)

This Hokkaido program supports SMEs introducing telework using information communication technology to secure talent for expanding into new business fields and markets as part of regional economic structural transformation. Eligible entities include SMEs with principal offices or business locations in Hokkaido, SME associations, and Hokkaido business offices of companies headquartered outside the prefecture. Subsidized expenses include equipment purchases, system construction costs, and consultant fees for implementing work-from-home or satellite office work arrangements. Applicants must ensure target numbers of newly engaged teleworkers (limited to Hokkaido residents) conduct telework at least once per week on average throughout the subsidy period. The application deadline is June 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM, and concurrent use with other business menu items of the SME Competitiveness Enhancement Program is prohibited.
