FY2026 Overseas Patent/Trademark Filing Subsidy

1This project is a subsidy for overseas expansion support business expenses such as small and medium-sized enterprises in Aichi Prefecture. In order to make it easier for foreign companies to secure industrial property rights such as patents, utility models, designs and trademarks in foreign countries, we will assist in part of the expenses necessary for application to the Foreign Patent Office. 2The target is a group of small and medium-sized enterprises with headquarters or business offices in Aichi, or small and medium-sized enterprises within the prefecture. Individual business owners may be eligible if they already have business in Japan and abroad. T whose annual average of taxable income is more than a certain amount, and those who fall under the ex of gangster are not eligible. It is also important to cooperate with a five-year follow-up investigation after completion of the business. 3Subsidy subjects include application fee to the Foreign Patent Office, domestic and local agent fee required for foreign applications, translation fee, etc. It is not applicable to the Japanese Patent Office, the domestic application fee, the international PCT fee, the cost of ordering and occurrence before the adoption decision, and the interim procedure fee that occurs after the application are included. In the case of joint application, the target expenses will be adjusted in the range of the share ratio or burden of small and medium enterprises. 4Auxiliary rate is less than one-half of the grant target expenses, and the upper limit is 3 million yen per company, 1 million yen per patent, 6 million yen utility model, design, and trademark, and 300,000 yen for the rushing counter trademark. The application form must be submitted from May 8 to June 4, 2026. After adoption, it is necessary to complete the order, payment, and results report by January 21, 2027.
