FY2026 Noshiro City Truck Transport Business Operator Management Stabilization Support Subsidy

(1) Overview: Noshiro City (Akita Prefecture) provides this subsidy within budget to support the management stabilization of truck transport operators affected by crude-oil price hikes. It is governed by the FY2026 Noshiro City notification No.11 issued on 22 Jan 2026 and effective until 31 Mar 2027. It acts as a top-up on Akita Prefecture's logistics operator energy-price emergency support subsidy: only operators that have already received that prefectural grant are eligible. (2) Eligibility: Applicants must (i) be running a freight transport business as defined in Article 2(1) of the Freight Vehicle Transport Business Act at application time and intend to continue it, (ii) be a corporation headquartered in Noshiro City or a sole proprietor residing there, (iii) have received the Akita prefectural energy-price emergency subsidy decision on or after 19 Dec 2025, and (iv) have no municipal tax arrears. Applicants who pay outstanding tax before applying are still eligible. (3) Eligible expenses / content: Eligible vehicles are those used by the applicant for the transport business that are covered by the prefectural subsidy, excluding any vehicle already supported by a similar grant from a municipality other than Noshiro. No receipts are required: the amount is calculated mechanically from the vehicle list approved by the prefecture. Per-vehicle flat rate: ordinary freight vehicle JPY 7,500/unit; light freight vehicle JPY 2,000/unit. (4) Rate / cap / schedule / pointers: Flat per-vehicle subsidy; only one grant per eligible operator. Deadline 28 Dec 2026 (Mon). Submit Form 1 (application & request) with copy of prefectural decision letter, vehicle list (prefectural Form 2-1), corporate registry extract (corporation) or residence certificate (sole proprietor), bank account proof, and Form 2 pledge, by mail or in person to Noshiro City Commerce & Labor Division. Payment is made within 30 days of the approval decision.
