FY2026 Mutsu City Public Transport Driver Recruitment Support Subsidy

Mutsu City supports transportation operators that serve the city by subsidizing costs for securing drivers. Eligible operators must have routes or service areas in the city and be currently operating. The program covers costs for employees obtaining a second-class driver license, such as entrance fees, lessons, testing, training camp costs, license test fees, and transportation costs, at up to one-half of eligible costs. From FY2026, recruitment activity support was added for job magazine and job-site listing costs. That recruitment support is capped at the lower of one-half of eligible costs or 300,000 yen. The eligible period is April 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027.
